Slow Hickory Smoked The Way BBQ Was Meant To Be Made

BPS BBQ started on a summer day with all my family gathered at the house for swimming, fun and my slow hickory smoked pulled pork and brisket when everyone started trying to convince me this was the best BBQ they had ever eaten and I should cook my pork and brisket commercially so others could experience what real smoked BBQ is supposed to taste like. I sometimes wonder if my brother-n-law just wanted an endless supply of hickory smoked “Memphis Style” BBQ with a family discount. But, that June day in 2008 Back Porch Smoked BBQ was officially born on the back porch of my house. And many boston butts, pork shoulders and beef briskets later, it’s available to all — and we have never looked back. We hope you and your family enjoy our food as much as we enjoyed making it for you.
